Yeah, that's me in an acting portfolio shot! What a poser! I don't think my agent knew at the time that I hadn't even been in my school play!

 

You never know what life is going to throw at you, after my accident, my dream of playing football was over. I always wanted to get back to sports so I played wheelchair basketball for Belfast Knights and Ireland. What an honour! It was through the Knights that I got a chance to audition for Cast Offs, a mockumentary about disabled people stranded on a reality tv show island, and what followed was mad. Hollyoaks, Coronation Street, Doctors and a host of comedies with the likes of Will Mellor, Joel Fry and Rick Edwards. I loved it.
